Private Credit Funds Eye Comeback to Large Cap Financings As Syndicated Market Cools (Debtwire)


Direct lending funds could make a comeback to increasingly provide larger corporate issuers competitive financing options in 2H21 after mostly taking a hiatus earlier this year, according to two market sources. Kris Ring, a Private Equity and Debt Finance partner at Goodwin, said that direct lenders are likely to remain aggressive in order to stay competitive against the syndicated market.
