Raspberry Pi Completes $45 Million Funding Round

The Cambridge Technology team has advised the trading arm of the Raspberry Pi Foundation on its $45 million funding round from new investors Lansdowne Partners and Ezrah Charitable Trust, valuing the company at around $500 million.

Raspberry Pi, founded in 2009 and based in Cambridge, develops, manufactures, markets, and sells single-board programmable computing devices to help people to learn programming in an affordable way. The company has shipped over 42 million computers to over 100 countries.

The Goodwin team was led by David Mardle, and Adam Thatcher.
