Agronutris raises €100 million

The Paris Life Sciences and Technology team advised Agronutris on its €100 million fundraising.

The company raised 50 million euros in equity from the SPI fund managed by Bpifrance and Mirova. 10% of the funds come from the France Relance plan and the Grand-Est region and the remaining 40% are debt.

With this financial contribution, Agronutris wants to industrialize its manufacturing process by deploying two industrial units with a conversion capacity of 280,000 tonnes per year of bio-residues from the agricultural industry. This industrial project has a potential of more than 200 jobs in France.

Their goal is to deploy nine production sites by 2029.

Agronutris is a start-up specializing in the production of insect-based proteins.

The Goodwin team was led by Anne-Charlotte Rivière and included Louis Taslé d’Héliand on corporate aspects.
