Goodwin hired Amanda Gill who focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions and other corporate matters, the firm said. In an interview with Law360 Pulse, Gill said she wanted to move her practice to Goodwin because her background was focused on a broad range of M&A transactions and that her experience fit well with the team's focus. "I've always had a specific focus and interest in Life Sciences, and since that industry is really growing... you're seeing a lot more M&A in that industry specifically. I wanted to be at a place that allows me to focus on it and also has that level of expertise and intimacy with the industry that a lot of other firms don't have," she said.
