Tom Roberts

Tom is a partner in Goodwin’s Private Equity group. Tom focuses his practice primarily on advising private equity sponsors on cross-border leveraged financings including leveraged buy-outs, acquisitions of minority investments, bolt-on acquisitions, dividend recaps, and refinancings. Tom also has experience in margin lending on listed and unlisted shares and real estate finance. 

Tom’s recent representative experience includes advising:

• Blackstone on the financing aspects of the recapitalization of a global events business*
• Brookfield Private Capital on the financing aspects of the recapitalization of Schoeller Allibert, a European market leader of returnable industrial plastic packaging solutions*
