The Technology team advised Swift Solar on its acquisition of the core manufacturing assets and intellectual property of Meyer Burger, a leading European silicon solar manufacturer. The transaction includes gigawatt-scale heterojunction (HJT) manufacturing equipment and a global IP portfolio. Swift is also onboarding a seasoned technology and manufacturing team from Meyer Burger. The acquisition supports Swift Solar’s strategy to accelerate the development of next-generation, vertically integrated US solar manufacturing capabilities.
Swift Solar is the US pioneer in perovskite tandem solar technology, developing breakthrough solar cells for commercial deployment.
