Kevin Lam is a partner in Goodwin’s Strategic Technology Transactions and Licensing practice and a member of the firm’s Technology and Life Sciences groups. Kevin advises clients on a broad range of intellectual property, technology and commercial matters, including: the acquisition, management, licensing and commercialization of intellectual property; partnering transactions (such as joint research and development collaborations, strategic alliances, JVs and reseller and OEM arrangements); commercial and research and development relationships (such as supply, distribution, manufacturing, clinical trial, services and consulting arrangements); and intellectual property support for mergers and acquisitions, spinouts, venture capital and private equity transactions, and public offerings.
Kevin also serves as the National Hiring Partner for the firm's US offices.
Kevin’s expertise spans a broad array of industries, including SaaS and cloud computing, computer software and hardware, artificial intelligence, blockchain technologies, cannabis, open source, integrated circuits, gaming, advertising, e-commerce, music/entertainment, life sciences and medical devices.
