The Paris Private Equity team advised Latour Capital on the fundraising of Latour Small I, which closed at €400 million, significantly exceeding its initial target of €250 million.
Completed in less than a year despite a challenging market environment, this oversubscription reflects the continued support of Latour Capital’s longstanding partners, as well as strong interest from new institutional investors across the United States, Canada, the Middle East, and Europe, including the Nordic region.
With this new fund, Latour Capital returns to its roots by deploying its proven small-cap investment strategy and leveraging its operational expertise.
Less than a year after its first closing, Latour Small I is already approximately 30% deployed. Latour Capital has secured four transactions, two of which have already closed, including three primary investments. In line with its strategy, two of these transactions are carve-outs, one of which is in Spain.
The Goodwin team advising Latour Capital was led by Sarah Michel, Maxime Hemled, and Martin Tinelli on fund formation matters, and Marie-Laure Bruneel on tax matters.
