The Paris team advised SCAP Hologram, a digital surgery and robotics medtech startup based in Saint‑Martin‑d’Hères (France), in connection with the execution of a definitive agreement for the sale of its assets to DePuy Synthes, a global orthopaedics solutions company.
This transaction supports DePuy Synthes’ strategy to accelerate the development of digital surgery and advanced orthopaedic technologies. The acquired assets notably include intellectual property, software, and development capabilities related to the SCAP Hologram platform.
The transaction also includes rights relating to the acquisition, development, manufacturing and commercialization of the GemTrack miniaturized sensor technology, developed by MinMaxMedical, for DePuy Synthes’ “Joints” portfolio, as well as a strategic partnership with KYNISKA ROBOTICS in the field of navigation and robotics applied to hip and knee procedures.
SCAP Hologram develops navigation solutions for shoulder surgery, combining miniaturized sensors and 3D visualization to enhance precision and ergonomics in the operating room. Co-founded by Haventure and backed by several key industry players, the company operates within a highly dynamic ecosystem.
