Goodwin Advises Abry Partners on Confirma Software Sale
The Private Equity team advised Abry Partners on the sale of Confirma Software, a leading Nordic provider of industry-specific software solutions for small- and medium-sized businesses and the public sector, to Main Capital Partners. The transaction marks the culmination of a seven-year partnership that began with Abry Partners’ thesis to build the leading home for mission-critical vertical software businesses across the Nordic region. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Abry Partners is one of the most experienced and successful sector-focused private equity investment firms in North America. Since its founding in 1989, the firm has completed over $90 billion of leveraged transactions and other private equity or preferred equity placements. Currently, the firm manages $16 billion of assets across several fund strategies.
The Goodwin team was led by Anu Balasubramanian and Jamie Holdoway, and included Anne Stroude, Ray Aryal, Apsana Rai, Sarah Jordan, Elliot Luke, James Taylor, Tom Roberts, Laura Kelly, Dulcie Daly, and Matthew Rees.
