Carrie Clowney

Carrie Clowney is a law clerk in the firm’s Business Law department in Washington, DC. She joined Goodwin in 2024 and was a summer associate in 2023.

While attending law school, Carrie served as a Senior Editor of the Georgetown Journal of International Law and as a student-attorney in the Georgetown University Law Center Domestic Violence Clinic. She also served as a clerk for the Civilian Board of Contract Appeals and the Department of Commerce’s Commercial Law Development Program.

Prior to law school, Carrie supported the Fulbright Program as a Grants and Budget Analyst. Carrie also provided project, contract and financial management support for U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and Department of State funded contracts.

Carrie’s application to the Washington, DC bar is pending; she is working under the supervision of the partners at Goodwin Procter LLP.
