Barzin Pakandam is a partner in Goodwin’s Technology practice, where he represents emerging-growth companies and venture capital investors in all stages of the lifecycle. Barzin handles venture capital financings, M&A transactions, tender offers and IPOs and advises on day-to-day corporate matters for his clients. In addition, he routinely advises Boards of Directors on corporate governance matters and acts as outside general counsel for C-suite executives. Barzin is also a member of the Firm’s cannabis practice, where he provides strategic counsel on corporate governance and regulatory matters, fundraising and M&A transactions.

Barzin is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Iranian American Bar Association.
Professional Experience
Prior to attending law school, Barzin served as founder and editor-in-chief of The Editor’s Corner, a small business that provided editing services to authors preparing works for publication.
He has also completed judicial externships for the Honorable R. Gary Klausner, United States District Court for the Central District of California, and for the Chief Judge of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
