Goodwin Hires Private Equity Trio (Private Equity News)

Goodwin has hired three Private Equity partners in London, Private Equity News can reveal. Anu Balasubramanian will join Goodwin as chair of European private equity, working with the M&A, Debt Finance, and Funds teams in London, Paris, Munich, Brussels, and Luxembourg. Balasubramanian will be joined by Jamie Holdoway and Chetan Sheth. Balasubramanian has acted for clients including Abry Partners, Oakley Capital, Francisco Partners, Link Mobility, and Wipro Limited. “We are delighted Anu, Jamie, and Chetan have chosen to join Goodwin,” said Anthony McCusker, chair of Goodwin. He added that investing in the firm’s London and European private equity offering is “core to our global Goodwin 2033 strategy.” Goodwin has hired 22 private equity partners globally in the past two years, including six in London. These include Ian Keefe, George Bewell, Jacqueline Eaves, Arvin Abraham, John Anderson, and Tom Roberts, who joined the firm’s Private Equity and Private Investment Funds practices.
