Paul Sigar
Paul Sigar is an associate in the Technology industry group, specialising in the Strategic Technology Transactions and Licensing and Data, Privacy & Cybersecurity practices at Goodwin. He joined Goodwin in 2026.
Paul has extensive experience advising and negotiating on complex technology transactions, including large-scale digital transformation projects, software licensing and cloud services, the commercialisation and licensing of strategic technologies, and commercial arrangements for digital infrastructure and network rollouts.
He assists clients in navigating complex regulatory environments and managing risk across intellectual property, privacy, data governance, and cyber incident response.

Professional Activities
Paul is a member of the Queensland Law Society and a Non-Executive Director of the ASEAN-Australia Strategic Youth Partnership, an Australian-registered charity.
He was previously a committee member of the Queensland Law Society’s AI in Legal Practice Consulting Committee, and the Law Society of South Australia’s Space Law Committee and Legal Technology Committee.
