The ninth edition of the annual report highlights the achievements and activities of law firms around the world, focusing on transactions or cases with an India connection. Goodwin has been ranked every year since opening its Hong Kong office in 2008.
The IBLJ lists Goodwin in its “Significant Players” category, recognizing partner Yash Rana for his India-related work. The firm is also recognized for its expertise in private equity and venture capital, citing its involvement in two of India Business Law Journal’s Deals of the Year 2014, as counsel to the investors in Flipkart’s series E and F round of funding and as advisers to Bessemer Venture Partners Trust in series E, F and G investments in Snapdeal, as well as its representation of DST Global and Falcon Edge Capital in connection with their investments in Olacabs.
