TA Associates Strategically Invests in Financial Information Technologies

The Private Equity team advised TA Associates on its strategic investment in Financial Information Technologies, LLC (“Fintech”), a leading solutions provider for beverage alcohol management, and regulatory information resource. The investment was made alongside Luminate Capital Partners to enhance Fintech’s leadership role in the beverage alcohol market through new product innovations and strategic acquisitions. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Now in its 50th year, TA Associates is one of the largest and most experienced global growth private equity firms. Focused on five target industries – technology, healthcare, financial services, consumer and business services – TA invests in profitable, growing companies with opportunities for sustained growth, and has invested in nearly 500 companies around the world.

The Goodwin team was led by partner Michael Kendall and included associates Peter Hanoian, Marianne Kurlandski, and Dylan Brown.
