Mr. Ng is a member of the Intellectual Property Section of the California Bar Association. Mr. Ng is also a member of the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area and serves on the board of directors for the Duke Law Alumni Association.
Mr. Ng’s experience covers a wide range of technologies, including software, cloud computing, open source compliance, social networking platforms, computer and mobile gaming, advertising, publishing, AR/VR, and consumer genomics. Prior to joining Goodwin, Mr. Ng was an associate at another international law firm, where he represented clients in private equity and venture capital transactions. Mr. Ng has also worked in the legal and policy teams of two Silicon Valley technology and biotechnology companies where he advised on regulatory and technology transactions matters, including licensing, commercial agreements, outsourcing agreements and strategic alliances.
While attending law school, Mr. Ng was the Notes Editor for the Duke Journal of Gender Law and Policy. Mr. Ng also provided corporate strategy and intellectual property advice to teams from the Duke Fuqua School of Business working on blockchain and cryptocurrency ventures.
