Abate, New York City’s Patent Litigation “Lawyer of the Year,” is a partner in Goodwin’s litigation department. His practice concentrates on trials and appeals of patent infringement cases, and he has particular expertise in matters involving electronics, computers, computer software, financial systems, and electrical, mechanical, and medical devices. Abate recently served as President of the New York Intellectual Property Law Association and has been consistently recognized as one of the nation’s foremost IP lawyers.
Adelfio, recognized for practicing in Mutual Funds Law, is Washington D.C.’s Private Funds/Hedge Funds Law “Lawyer of the Year.” He is a partner in Goodwin’s Financial Institutions Group and a member of its Investment Management Practice. Adelfio has served for over 30 years as outside counsel to investment companies, independent directors and investment advisers. He also serves on the Advisory Board of BoardIQ, an industry publication geared towards independent directors.
Pastuszenski, Boston’s Securities Litigation “Lawyer of the Year,” is co-chair of Goodwin’s Securities Class Action & SEC Enforcement Practice and a senior partner in the firm’s Litigation Group. His practice is concentrated in the areas of securities class action and shareholder litigation defense; including defense of SEC proceedings, internal corporate investigations, corporate governance and compliance matters, merger and acquisition-related litigation, and other high-stakes business litigation.
