Goodwin handled more Massachusetts IPOs than any other Boston law office in 2016, representing clients in five offerings in the life sciences and technology industries. The firm was recognized in a recent Boston Business Journal article about IPOs in the upcoming year.
In 2016, Massachusetts was home to 12 IPOs, with all but three of them in the life sciences sector, according to the Business Journal. Goodwin handled five out of the 12 state-wide IPOs.
Goodwin scored work from three local biotech companies undergoing IPOs, Proteostatis Therapeutics, Intellia Therapeutics and Ra Pharmaceuticals. It advised underwriters in two IPOs, for technology firms Acacia Communications and Everbridge.
