The Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) has recognized Maggie Wong as a 2021 Rainmaker. This recognition honors partners from across the country who have a proven track record of achieving success through innovative and proactive business development while also contributing significantly to positive change in their communities.
Ms. Wong is a partner in Goodwin’s Life Sciences practice. Known for advising clients on corporate, transactional and strategic matters throughout their lifecycle, her varied practice represents emerging companies in the biotechnology, medical device, diagnostics, specialty pharmaceuticals and healthcare information technology sectors. Ms. Wong is also a Steering Committee member leading the development of Goodwin’s groundbreaking PropSci practice, a first-of-its kind initiative designed to meet the unique real estate challenges faced by life sciences companies.
An advocate for the advancement of women both within the firm as well as the legal profession, Ms. Wong currently serves as the San Francisco office Co-Chair for Women@Goodwin. In this role, she actively supports the firm’s goals to attract, retain, develop and advance women throughout all stages of their careers.
Founded in 1997, the MCCA is committed to augmenting the hiring, retention and promotion of diverse lawyers in law departments and law firms by providing research, best practices, professional development and training; and through pipeline initiatives.
