Goodwin has added a three-lawyer, partner-led team to its Technology and Life Sciences practice in Paris, building up its capabilities in M&A, venture capital and private equity in a key area for the firm globally. Xavier Leroux joins as a partner, Law.com International reports. His practice focuses on venture capital and growth equity transactions in particular in the technology industry. He assists startups and scale-ups throughout the corporate life cycle, from incorporation to exit, in their day-to-day structuring, capital financing and external growth operations. Leroux joins the firm with two associates, Augustin Piqueras and Inès Louguar.
