Goodwin today announced that venture and growth equity funds expert Ed Kingsbury will join the firm’s Investment Funds team as a partner in the London office.

With over two decades of experience, Ed advises sponsors and institutional investors on the structuring, formation, and operation of private investment funds, with a particular focus on venture capital, private equity, credit, infrastructure, and other alternative asset classes including litigation funding and royalties. He also advises on secondaries transactions and investment management arrangements, and is a long-standing member of the UK Private Capital regulatory committee, and of the Invest Europe financial services working group.

Ed’s arrival follows the announcement of a series of strategic hires in Goodwin’s London team with the arrival of Private Equity Transactions team including partners Anu Balasubramanian, Jamie Holdoway and Chetan Sheth as well as debt finance partner Matt Ayre, technology expert Emmie Jones and European patent attorney Colm Murphy.
