The Managing IP Americas Awards recently recognized Goodwin for excellence in appellate litigation and for its key role in Helsinn Healthcare v. Teva Pharmaceuticals, which was named one of the Milestone Cases of 2019. The annual awards honor significant accomplishments in intellectual property over the past year and are based on independent research as well as interviews with notable clients and IP practitioners.
Managing IP shortlisted Goodwin for best US Appellate Practice and partner William Jay for Outstanding Appellate Practitioner. Jay is co-chair of Goodwin’s Appellate Litigation practice and head of the Litigation Department in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.
