Chi Pan is a senior associate in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of its Private Equity group. Ms. Pan joined Goodwin in 2016.
Ms. Pan has advised clients on a wide variety of U.S. and cross-border corporate transactions, including mergers, stock and asset acquisitions and divestures, leveraged buyouts and corporate governance matters. She also has experience in private equity investments, joint ventures and corporate restructurings in connection with her representation of private equity sponsor and portfolio company clients. Her clients are in a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, financial services, technology, infrastructure, real estate and retail.
Ms. Pan is a member of the American Bar Association. In addition to English, Ms. Pan speaks Mandarin Chinese fluently.
Prior to joining Goodwin, Ms. Pan was an associate in the corporate group at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York.
The Nielsen IPO on which Ms. Pan worked was awarded the IFLR Equity Deal of the Year in 2012.
While attending law school, Ms. Pan was awarded the Chubb Competition Prize for excellence in legal draftsmanship.
