Goodwin has hired Real Estate partner Dustin Calkins in San Francisco, Law.com reports. Calkins is the firm’s third partner hire in California in 2023. Earlier in the year, it hired Technology M&A partner Jon Olsen in San Diego and IP Litigation partner Sharon Smith in San Francisco. Dustin's joint venture and real estate finance expertise “will enhance our local and global clients’ ability to deploy capital and achieve their business goals,” Real Estate practice co-chair Diana Brummer said. Real estate is one of Goodwin’s five sector priorities, and its real estate practice group has more than 200 lawyers in the U.S. and abroad.
