The Technology team advised Traversal on its $120 million Series B funding at a $1 billion valuation. The round was co-led by Kleiner Perkins, Redpoint Ventures, and Khosla Ventures, with significant participation from Sequoia and Battery Ventures. This funding will help Traversal push its work further by hiring top talent across research, engineering, and go-to-market to expand the capabilities of its AI platform for site reliability engineering (AI SRE) and move toward increasingly autonomous production operations.

Traversal is an AI platform for site reliability engineering (AI SRE) that reduces downtime and increases engineering productivity. Traversal’s goal is helping engineering teams autonomously diagnose, remediate, and prevent production incidents, even in the largest, most complex systems.

The Goodwin team was led by Craig Schmitz, Scott French, Amy Kim, Emma Jones, Christian Golden, Kevin Liu, April Sun, Laura Conway, and Garrett Gaughan, with invaluable assistance from Bill Stern, Jennifer Tighe, Jared Gheen, and Christina Keeney.
