Kevin Liu

Kevin Liu is a partner in Goodwin’s Business Law department and a member of the firm’s Strategic Technology Transactions and Licensing and Data, Privacy and Cybersecurity practices. He counsels clients on a broad array of intellectual property and privacy matters in connection with their day-to-day business operations, venture financings, M&A transactions, and initial public offerings.

Kevin’s experience covers a wide range of industries, including cloud computing, computer and mobile gaming, advertising, blockchain technologies, AR/VR, cannabis, consumer electronics, semiconductor manufacturing, medical devices, and biotechnology.

Prior to rejoining Goodwin in 2020, Kevin was Head of Product and Privacy at a late-stage B2B software company based in San Francisco.

Kevin was recognized as a Recommended Lawyer by the Legal 500 US 2026 in Technology Transactions.
