Goodwin Private Investment Funds Team Welcomes Partner Runjhun Kudaisya in New York

Global law firm Goodwin today announced that Runjhun Kudaisya joined the Private Investment Funds practice as a partner, resident in the New York office.

“Runjhun has the experience and talent to make an immediate impact with our clients,” said Paul Verbesey, co-chair of the Private Investment Funds practice. “We are thrilled to add a lawyer of her caliber to our team as we continue our global market leadership in fund formation amid increasing client demand.”

Kudaisya has extensive experience advising asset managers on all aspects of fund formation and investment adviser matters. She counsels clients on the forming, structuring, launching, and ongoing operating of investment funds, including private equity, infrastructure, real estate, debt, hedge funds, separate account arrangements, "fund-of-one" structures, and customized investment products. She also advises investment advisers in regulatory and compliance matters, including registration and compliance policies and procedures.

In addition to prior law firm experience, Kudaisya draws on in-house experience, having served in assistant general counsel roles at Sculptor Capital Management Group and Aladdin Capital.

Kudaisya follows the recent arrivals of Private Investment Funds partners Greg Larkin in Washington, D.C., David WagnerMichael Aluko, and Karen Chao in New York, Sebastian Bruchwitz in Frankfurt, and Elyn Xing in Hong Kong.
