The Paris Private Equity team is advising the shareholders of FPEE in the creation of a shared holding company with Bouvet, the French specialist in joinery and latches. With this operation, the French producer of custom-made industrial millwork, FPEE, will conclude its relationship with the French private equity funds Siparex and Arkéa Capital Investissement, which have supported the company since 2015.
The two companies, soon to be united under a single umbrella organization, are seeking to build a new industrial powerhouse that can take the lead in the French market. The transaction, which is slated to be completed in early 2019, remains subject to approval by the Competition Authorities.
The Goodwin team is led by partner Jérôme Jouhanneaud and includes partners Marie-Laure Bruneel and Frédéric Guilloux and associates Paul Fournière and Benjamin Filiatre.
