The Paris Technology team advised the European private equity firm Astorg on the $500M financing of EcoVadis, the leading provider of globally trusted business sustainability ratings.
Since its founding in 2007, EcoVadis has grown to become the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, creating a global network of more than 90,000+ rated companies.
The financing round was led by Astorg and BeyondNetZero, General Atlantic’s climate investing venture, with participation from Singapore-based GIC Private Limited and Princeville Capital.
With this funding, EcoVadis became the 27th French unicorn.
The Goodwin team was led by Thomas Dupont-Sentilles and included Benhouda Derradji on corporate aspects, Marie Fillon and Louis de Chezelles on IP aspects as well as on regulatory aspects.
