The Private Equity, Technology M&A and Public M&A teams advised Thoma Bravo, a leading software investment firm, in its definitive agreement to acquire 100% of the shares in Nearmap Ltd. (ASX: NEA), a leading location intelligence and aerial imagery company, for AUD $2.10 per share in an all-cash scheme of arrangement at a fully diluted equity valuation of approximately AUD $1.055 billion. Upon completion of the transaction, Nearmap Ltd. will become a privately held company.

Thoma Bravo is one of the largest private equity firms in the world, with more than $114 billion in assets under management as of March 31, 2022. The firm invests in growth-oriented, innovative companies operating in the software and technology sectors.
